Data Deletion
You can ask us to remove your personal information from our records at any time. Here is
exactly how the request works, what we can delete, and what we are obliged to retain.
Last updated: 27 April 2026
Your right to deletion
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and our Privacy
Policy, you have the right to request the erasure of personal information that Supreme
Petro Foam Private Limited ("Sparsh", "we") holds about you. This page explains how to make
that request, how we verify it, and how long the process takes.
What kind of data we hold
The personal information Sparsh may hold about you typically includes one or more of the following:
- Your name, phone number and email submitted through enquiry, dealer-locator or feedback forms.
- City and pin code shared to route you to the nearest authorised dealer.
- Warranty registration data linked to a specific Sparsh mattress purchase.
- Anonymous analytics events tied to a temporary device identifier (these are auto-purged on a
rolling 12-month basis and do not require a separate request).
How to submit a data deletion request
Send an email to supreme_foam@yahoo.co.in
from the email address that was originally shared with us, including the following details:
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request — <Your Full Name>
- Full name as shared with Sparsh.
- Phone number and email associated with your enquiry, warranty card or dealer interaction.
- City and approximate date of your purchase or enquiry, if applicable.
- A short statement: "I request deletion of my personal data held by Supreme Petro Foam Industry under the DPDP Act, 2023."
If you do not have access to the email originally shared with us, attach a scan of a government-issued
photo ID or your warranty card so we can verify your identity. Verification protects you from someone
else asking us to delete your records without your consent.
What happens after you submit a request
- Acknowledgement — We confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days.
- Verification — We confirm that the request genuinely originates from you. This may
involve a phone call to the registered number on file.
- Action — We delete the verified personal information from our active records and
instruct our service providers (web host, analytics, email provider) to do the same. This is
typically completed within 30 calendar days of verification.
- Confirmation — You receive a written confirmation that your data has been deleted,
along with details of any records we are legally required to retain (see next section).
What we may need to retain
Indian law requires us to retain certain records even after a deletion request:
- Warranty & service records — kept for the active warranty period of your
mattress (up to 11 years) so we can honour any future warranty claims you file.
- Tax & accounting records — invoices and related transaction data are retained
for the period prescribed under the Income Tax Act and the GST Act (typically 8 years).
- Records subject to ongoing legal proceedings — retained until the matter is
concluded.
Once these statutory retention periods expire, the corresponding records are deleted automatically.
Withdrawing marketing consent
If you simply want to stop receiving promotional emails or WhatsApp messages — without deleting your
account — reply "Unsubscribe" to any Sparsh marketing message, or email
supreme_foam@yahoo.co.in with the subject
"Unsubscribe Marketing". We process unsubscribes within 7 business days.
Disputes and grievances
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data deletion request, you can:
- Write to our Grievance Officer at supreme_foam@yahoo.co.in
with the subject "Data Grievance".
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India under Section 27 of the DPDP Act, 2023.
